Merry Christmas Wildfire family!!

Wildfire family,

We are excited to share what God is doing through the Wildfire Network. These first fruits are just the beginning, and we want to keep asking for God to send out workers into His fields...

If you are reading this - STOP!
Right where you are, think of God as if you were a worker in His fields, and ask him for marching orders...     wait for 30 seconds...

As you read through the rest of this newsletter, consider how God might spark an idea in you. If that happens, then we would love to come alongside to help and encourage you as you say 'Yes' to Jesus.

Whether or not we ever see your face, you are part of the movement through your prayers, support, and involvement. Everything about the Wildfire Network serves to help people truly live as the people of God - saying 'Yes' to God's call one day at a time.

Called + Empowered + Sent = WILDFIRE

Check out some of the things that God has set before us so far...

New Mission: Angel Helpers Ministry

We are excited to welcome the Angel Helpers Ministry into the Wildfire Network. This mission exists to bring the joy of Jesus to families in need in San Antonio and surrounding areas by meeting their needs during the holiday season and throughout the year. So far this year they have delivered 30 thanksgiving turkeys, provided over 150 local kids with Christmas presents, and opened their 3rd community food bank. They have plans to visit over 100 seniors with a 'Silver Santa' gift. They pray with the families, help connect them with resources from the community to address their current financial situation, and they follow up with families throughout the year. In fact, rather than being a simple 'handout', several of the 'angel' families have stepped up to serve this year as angel helpers themselves!

Disciples making disciples...

It all started several years ago with a simple 'Yes' to an idea that God planted in Michelle and Brenden Daigle, elders of the Angel Helpers Ministry. As they tried to follow the dream God had placed on their heart, the first couple of years were difficult. Often they have felt like the work of the ministry was all on their shoulders. Thankfully, God is giving them a team and they are beginning to expand their ability to fulfill their mission. They are excited to join the Wildfire Network and have already begun to benefit from the free service platforms

They ask for prayers for discernment as they enter homes and for God to meet the needs of the poor in our local communities.  If you would like to know how to get involved, email

If you have an idea to start a mission or want to partner with one of the missional communities, then we would love to meet with you.

(Matthew 6:33, NLT)

It's time to get together! Wildfire Network invites you and anyone you know to come together at The Mill in Cibolo, TX for a night of worship and witness. Taylor Rogers and several others will teach from the scriptures about the Kingdom of God, and the Wildfire family will share stories of how they are witnessing the Kingdom in their lives. Anyone who seeks the Kingdom of God may join us - of any age, race, or creed.

Unexpected Feast!

Thanksgiving - The original Cross-Cultural feast! God began his Church at pentecost with people from 15 different cultures in attendance. One of the last pictures in Revelation specifically mentions that people will gather around the throne from every nation, tongue, and tribe. Wildfire Network got a call from the directors at the Oak Manor apartments the night before the planned event  - there was no money or help available for a thanksgiving feast less than 24 hours away!!! Through the support of our donors and the readiness of friends, Wildfire had the privilege of providing over 175 plates at the most beautifully diverse feast I have ever witnessed...

We will be returning to the Oak Manor Apartments to join their Christmas feast on December 19th, 4:30-6:30pm. Angel Helpers Ministry will be providing Christmas gifts and stockings to children who missed out on Elf Louise or Blue Santa registration. Email if you would like to show up or help out for the feast.

We are on a new adventure with Wildfire, and there have been lots of changes in our rhythms and lifestyle. Every week we make plans for what we need to accomplish to continue to provide free services to the mission leaders, and every week God brings unexpected joys and challenges. We live with open hearts and an open home, and our precious children have been adapting graciously. They no longer ask "what's for dinner?". Instead, they ask, "who's coming over for dinner." With starting up a new organization, especially as God has been answering your prayers to send workers into the harvest, there has been more to do than what we even anticipated - yet He is also trying to teach us to rest in Him. Please pray that we would remain fruitful, while also living in the reality of Matthew 11:28

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest" (KJV)
