Welcome to our e-newsletter - we especially look forward to seeing many of you at our reunion in the summer - tickets are now on sale and selling fast, so don't miss out!
Former Staff
Our new website is now live, and includes a fully updated section for alumni. We hope you will find more information on our events and case studies, and you can update your details with us from this area of the website.
Rosemary Tice (Geography and Biology teacher, 1965-1990), marked the 136th birthday of the Foundation by bringing in a hyacinth.
Chloe Francis (left 2012) visited our 6th form to talk to our chemistry students about her work with photovoltaic panels and the technology involved. After leaving SPF Chloe did a degree in Chemistry at University of York after completing her IB qualification at SPF. More information on eight19, the company Chloe works for here.

Births

Sarah Miley (Left SPF 2002) and Peter Kiesel, a daughter, Hazel Maria Kiesel was born on 24 June 2016 weighing in at 7lb 15oz.
Anna Beadle (Left SPF 2002) and James Williams, a son, Ivor Richard Williams born in Kings College Hospital, London, 26 November 2016, at 4pm, weighing in at 8lb 2oz.
Kaisira Mughal (Left SPF 2003) and Robert Langhorne, a son, Ralph Noah Langhorne born 8 January 2017 weighing 8lb 5oz, at The Rosie maternity unit, Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.
Alice Coppendale (nee Houlder, left SPF 2000) and David, a son, Finley John Coppendale on 7th July 2016.
Alice Medley (nee Fleming, left SPF 1996), and Marcus, a son, Joshua on 22 March 2016.
Emily Black (nee Dixon, left 2001) and Steve Black, a son, Miles, born in October 2016
In Memoriam
Catherine Sutton (left SPF 1967) passed away in January 2017. Her sister Sally Sutton, also at school, passed on the news. Catherine had lived in the USA for many years and died suddenly. Her group of classmates are shortly to come together for their 50th anniversary reunion at Senior School.
Former teacher Anna Newton (taught at SPF 1965-1985), passed away suddenly but peacefully, aged 92, at her home in Linton on Monday 11 July 2016. Dearly loved wife of the late Kenneth, she will be greatly missed by her family and all her many friends. The funeral was a private cremation followed by a celebration of her life at The Friends' Meeting House in Jesus Lane, attended by former staff Rosemary Tice and Brigitte Pearson.
