Hi folks! 👋🏻
It’s June. It’s stopped raining.

Apparently there’s going to be quite a lot of the footing-the-ball on the telly over the next month. So if, like us, you’re going to have to spend a lot of time avoiding setting eye on groups of bladder-kickers on the small screen it would seem like as good a time as any to deep dive into your studio and processes to make sure your skills and set up are still razor sharp and current. Let us help you a bit with a little newsletter to get the operation underway….
An especially big hello and welcome to our newest subscriers Dave, Oohanh, Bethan, Trev and Jessica-Virginia.

How to prepare for showreel recording

Your showreels are probably the most important marketing tool you have, so it’s really important to get them right.

I thought it may be helpful to write a blog about the things you need to think about as you prepare yourself for getting demo-ready.

So, here's the first piece of advice - Do as much as you can yourself, but don’t do it yourself.

Hmmm... you'd better click the link to find out what the hell I'm on about.

A beginners guide to SEO for voiceovers
What is SEO and why should you you care? Helen looks into the basics and gives some simple tips to improve your website raking. I look at what SEO is and why it's important as well as keywords, site structure, using headlines, site speed, file names and mobile-friendly design. I promise it's nothing overly techy (if it is, feel free to tell me off!) and it can be applied to any website.

New projects launching soon
I've been busy working on quite a few new branding and website projects and a few are almost ready to launch. Above is a sneak peak of some of them...

My books are still closed for new branding and website projects, but you'll be the first to know about my new packages launching in July/August.

I have a few spaces available for reviews in July onwards, so do get in touch if you want to get your website working harder for you. This is what André said after his web review... "After making the changes you suggested to my website, I noticed an increase in people who found me." This is what I like to hear!
