We're back home from New Zealand.

Hey there,

How are you holding up? Times sure have changed since the last time we sent out an update, and honestly we haven't really posted anything since then for a couple of reasons:

1) We were pretty exhausted at the end of the Go North series

As you might remember from our last newsletter, we worked down to the wire to put out Go North Episode 20 before hopping on the plane to New Zealand with The RV Geeks at the end of February. We were going to take a few weeks of down-time before picking the torch back up with our next round of Go North Extras videos.

And then, as you know...

2) The coronavirus pandemic happened.

It just didn't seem right to post pictures and stories of our adventures in New Zealand when the world was hurting. The outbreak was declared a pandemic about 2 weeks into our 5 week trip, and while New Zealand wasn't impacted as much as others, a blanket of uncertainty was draped over everything. We found it hard to find a message to share when we were so unsure of our day-to-day plans and how/if/when we were coming home.
It was scary and stressful, but we finally landed back in Florida on April 4th after 48 hours of airports and flights.

We have a new blog up about our whole experience getting home from New Zealand here:
We are currently about halfway through our self-quarantine at home in our fifth wheel.
NZ Videos
Before the lockdown, we were able to see and film some of the incredible things NZ had to offer, and we expect to share the videos of our New Zealand adventure in summer 2020

You can check out the Teaser Reel of the New Zealand series in our latest blog.
Coming up next...
We're going to try and get back into the swing of things best we can starting next week with the roll out our Go North Extras - the deeper dives into some of the most frequently asked questions about our experience traveling north in the truck camper.

-> Remember, we also have our Go North FAQ page if you have more questions.
We'll also be starting work (once our self-quarantine is up) on a new RV Solar System project over the next month with videos to come soon after.
As we were driving through NZ, we saw many signs that had these helpful and grounding reminders that we've been using a mantra of sorts to get through this:

Be Kind. Stay Calm. Stay Home. Save Lives. We're all in this together.

BIG thank you to everyone working the front lines, the sidelines, and everyone doing their part to stay home and prevent the spread.

Stay safe everyone! Wishing you health and resilience in these tough times,

- Caitlin, Tom, Mocha & Bella
