Driving to the Arctic Ocean

Hey everyone! Go North Episode 12 is now available to watch on YouTube.

In this episode, we turn onto the Dempster Highway in Canada to drive all the way to the Arctic Ocean! The drive is over 500 miles of rough gravel one-way through beautiful mountains, river deltas, plains, and rolling tundra all the way to the hamlet of Tuktoyaktuk, a predominantly Inuvialuit fishing village on the Arctic coast. Who's ready for a swim?? 🌊😉

On 8/27 we checked in from Whittier, AK as we cooked an Alaskan Salmon dinner. We updated on what we were up to, as well as on an unfortunate incident with Mocha, who has a vestibular event that caused her to lose her balance for a couple of weeks :(
On 9/3 we went LIVE to chat about Fall in Alaska and our quest to see the Northern Lights!
Where Are We?
We just left Alaska and are back in Canada, starting our month-long trip back to the Lower 48. But the journey isn't over, there is still so much to see and it is SO PRETTY in the fall colors!
