Happy Thanksgiving!

We are writing to you from Cloverdale, California. It's a small town about 1.5 hrs north of San Francisco. Since our last newsletter we have traveled from Washington, down the beautiful Oregon coast, and thru the majestic Redwoods of northern California.

We started our southern descent with a visit to some family near the Columbia River Gorge in the Vancouver, WA/Portland, Oregon area. The fall colors were in full swing and we loved seeing all the gorgeous waterfalls along the Gorge's scenic drive.
Then we cut over to the coast. Unfortunately, the Pacific Northwest winter weather caught up with us, so we had many rainy cold days. The few sunny days we got we could see why so many people rave about this coastline!
We stayed for two weeks just a few miles from the Oregon Dunes - a 40-mile stretch of sand dunes on the edge of the ocean.
When we overnighted in the town of Coos Bay, Oregon, we had our bikes stolen right off the back of our RV. The bike lock was cut in the night as we slept. This was incredibly frustrating, as any theft is, but it was a significant dent to our morale.  Amazingly, we recovered one of the bikes, but not Tom's that had an electric motor on it :( However, we are thankful the thieves just took the bikes and did not harass us in any other way.

Ironically, we had just gotten a new bike lock that had an alarm, but we hadn't even opened the box yet! We did a review video on it and you can check it out here: NuLock Alarm Bike Lock
Luckily, our next stop cheered us up a bit: the Redwoods! If you've never been to the Redwoods, it is so hard to describe the experience, and we would HIGHLY recommend planning a trip! They are just...Huge. Awesome. Humbling. Wise. Powerful. Simply Amazing!
At the Redwoods we also started doing campground video reviews in exchange for staying at the campground for a while. This is awesome for 2 reasons: 1) Free stays in full-hookup campgrounds close to main attractions, and 2) Building our portfolio and reference base for getting compensated video jobs in the future. So that has been cool :)

We have been trying to catch up on a lot of our Vlogs and Blogs recently, including 6 new vlogs: And 6 new blogs: And more coming in the next few days!
This Thanksgiving we are really missing our families on the other side of the country, but we will be feasting with the other campers in the campground at a Thanksgiving Potluck! We hope you all are relaxing with friends and family this holiday and getting a chance to reflect upon all you are thankful for.
Thanks for reading, and happy trails!
