Christmas at First Baptist Gulfport

It's nearly time for the season of Advent where we see how God in Christ gives us PEACE, JOY, HOPE, and LOVE!

We plan to celebrate the arrival of our Savior through meditating on Scripture (reading daily Psalms and Christmas passages), through worship and being led by our choir in song each week, and through serving & giving to others through Angel Tree, Operation Christmas Child, caroling, and so much more.

Save the Dates for some of the primary ways that we will be observing the season of Advent outside of our regular Sunday morning LifeGroups & worship gatherings!

December 10: Adult (55+) Christmas Banquet > Tickets are for sale in The Atrium.
December 13: City of Light Prayer Gathering | Westminster Presbyterian Church, 6pm
December 24: Candlelight Christmas Eve Service | 4:30pm
December 25: Christmas Morning Service* | 10:30am (*No age-graded ministries)
January 1: New Year's Day Service* | 10:30am (*No age-graded ministries)

Decorating for Christmas
We need your help decorating our church campus for Christmas this coming Sunday! If you're available, just hang around after worship ends and join us in decking the halls! Lunch will be available for those who stay to help on Sunday.

Join us THIS SUNDAY after worship on November 20th!

Pictorial Directories Available
This Sunday, The Atrium
Beginning this Sunday, those who took a photo or submitted a photo are welcome to collect their church directory in The Atrium. Ann Billings and Heather Hicks will be near the welcome desk to provide them for you.

Adult (55+) Christmas Banquet
Tickets: $10 per person, available in The Atrium
Join us for a time of fellowship over a Christmas banquet meal, featuring musical entertainment and a raffle

Join us on SATURDAY, December 10th for a Christmas Banquet with entertainment and a raffle for ALL adults 55+!

Office Closed for Holidays
The church office will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday from Wednesday, November 23rd - Friday, November 25th!

Operation Christmas Child
You can AMPLIFY HOPE in the lives of children and communities all across the world by participating in Operation Christmas Child this holiday season! You can help us reach our online goal by packing a box ONLINE; otherwise, all boxes are due back to the church by this Sunday, November 20th!!

Join us in praying expectantly for the children and communities who will be touched by the generosity of our Savior this year!

We are excited to celebrate Christmas together on
CHRISTMAS EVE at 4:30pm & on CHRISTMAS DAY at 10:30am!

Though each worship service will share many aspects, we look forward to gathering together both Christmas Eve & Christmas Morning to observe and celebrate the life-changing arrival of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
