The Cancer Resource Center Re-Opens
After these recent months of providing services remotely, we are very happy to be back in the office and re-opening. However, things will be different in the months ahead as we focus on staff, client and volunteer safety. Below are the details so that you know what to expect.

Based on guidelines from Andrew Cuomo's office and local health officials, we have put a comprehensive safety plan in place. We have staggered scheduling with minimal staff in the office at the same time.

We are following these steps:

  • If in the prior 14 days you have experienced any symptoms of COVID-19, or had contact with anyone suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19, we ask that you do not come to the office.
  • All staff and visitors will be screened for recent exposure to COVID19 and we will take your temperature with a non-contact forehead thermometer.
  • All visitors must wear a mask (we will provide you with one if needed.)
  • We will maintain physical distancing of 6 feet as much as possible.
  • We encourage scheduling an appointment so that we will have the ability to meet your needs, especially for boutique services.
  • Visitors will ring the doorbell for entry and a maximum of two visitors may be allowed entry at a time.

We continue to provide 1:1 and peer to peer support, financial advocacy, and virtual support groups. Please do not hesitate to give us a call at 607-277-0960. We welcome you to the office and look forward to seeing you!

Thank you for your patience as we slowly return to full services.

United We Stand
The CRC Board of Directors and staff acknowledge serious systemic issues of racial injustice and disparity. Our goal is to engage fully across the organization in the coming weeks and months to bring forth change and concrete action.  We look forward to sharing our work on this with you.
