The Australian Computing, Coding, and Engineering Summer School (ACCESS) for Women

Developed by UNSW Computing and CSE Soc, ACCESS for Women is a five day summer school for up to thirty six female students going into years 11 and 12 in 2017.

The program aims to encourage young women to pursue Computer Science as a career path through five days of learning, social interaction, and networking with industry sponsors.
ACCESS for Women

A new five-day summer school for female students going into years 11 and 12 in 2017.

Applications close December 9th


Over the five days, you will participate in

  • social activities,
  • introductory lectures,
  • tutorials,
  • Industry site visits,
  • a mid-week dinner,
  • a major project.


After introductory lectures and tutorials, you will get to choose a major project to work on.  The projects will change from year to year, but will be offered at various levels to accommodate different interests and abilities.  Some of the projects will be offered by our industry Partners.
