Job: Administration and Finance Officer

Applications close at 5pm on Monday 22nd June for a new role with us. We need an Administration and Finance Officer to keep us organised, supported and running smoothly, particularly when it comes to tech challenges like those thrown up by the likes of SharePoint.

Following a successful joint proposal to the Scottish Graduate School for Arts & Humanities between the University of Glasgow and Creative Carbon Scotland, we are delighted to invite applications for a fully funded PhD studentship to undertake an interdisciplinary project – “Assessing arts-based interventions for sustainable practice”.

July Green Tease online meetup

Heads up for the fourth in our ongoing series of informal meetups - 7pm-8.30pm, Thursday 16th July.

The theme for this session is 'Climate Change and (Anti-) Racism', an opportunity to reflect on the implications of recent Black Lives Matter protests for the environmental movement and how action to address climate change can be racist or anti-racist.

Job: Marketing and Communications Manager (maternity cover) with the Federation of Scottish Theatre. Applications close at 12 noon on Monday 22nd June 2020.

Opportunity: Agora Gallery in NYC invites fine artists from all over the world to submit their works to “Art United – Together We Stand” for a chance to be selected for promotional awards designed to boost their careers. Accepting entries now to 30th June 2020.

Opportunity: Applications to the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) for scholarship and apprenticeship funding of up to £18,000 for talented and aspiring craftspeople are open 14th July - 24th August 2020.

Event: ÚNA
(Uniting Narratives with Arts) is holding its second edition of TraDigital Festival online from 23rd to 27th July. TraDigital is a week of film, art, music and podcasts exploring myths and tales from Latin America and Scotland.

Opportunity: Museums for Climate Change has an open call-out for concept and design proposals that radically reimagine the museum as an institution to help shape meaningful climate action. Registration deadline: 31st July 2020.

Opportunity: Cleaning brand Ecover has launched a £500,000 initiative - Fertilise the Future - to help fund the sustainable start-ups and eco-pioneers of tomorrow. Closing date: 1st September 2020.

Event: Our Cultural Adaptations Conference is taking place 2nd to 4th March 2021. Register your interest to receive updates on the programme, speakers and ticket sales as they come to hand.
