Scottish Classical Music Green Guide

It's a delight to promote this new Green Guide, produced by the Scottish Classical Sustainability Group in partnership with Creative Carbon Scotland. Both handbook and declaration for the future, this is a guide for how orchestras, ensembles, and individuals can employ good practice and innovation to make change.

Our upcoming events

  • Green Tease in-person event - Join us for energy politics and just transition, created by Rachel Grant, freelance curator at Fertile Ground, taking place at Look Again Space Project in Aberdeen - Saturday 4th September, 1-3pm.
  • Green Tease and Green Arts Initiative joint online event - Kat Jones, COP26 lead at Stop Climate Chaos Scotland, will talk about the focus of the summit, and what they hope will (or will not) be included in any ‘Glasgow Agreement’ at All about COP26 (as part of Climate Fringe Week) - Thursday 23rd September 2021, 2-3.30pm.
  • Addressing the climate emergency - two Engage/Creative Carbon Scotland workshops exploring the visual arts/gallery sector’s response to concerns around the environment and sustainability, particularly in relation to engaging young people in these conversations. Monday 20th September, 2-4pm & Wednesday 29th September, 10am-12pm.
