President's Message

Can Business Be Fun?

My answer is…YES! During our last board meeting, we spontaneously came up with a new tagline for the WBC. The Women’s Business Connection…where we “get it done” while having fun. That about sums up my vision for the organization! I want you to look forward to coming to a luncheon, business card exchange or special event associated with the WBC. I don’t want you to feel as though it’s an obligation, or something you’re going to force yourself to do. As your president, my goal is to provide a welcoming environment where you can form new relationships, learn something new and share a smile.

I’ll admit that I love making people laugh, but what I love more is working. I started my business in 1996 and have never looked back. The relationships that I have developed are NOTHING compared to the connections I’ve been able to make for others. It took me a while to realize that building relationships is more important than “doing business”.

If you have been put-off in the past about the WBC, I urge you to take another chance and experience what members are describing as “incredible energy” and “great vibe”. If you are a member who looks forward to coming to the next WBC event, please bring a guest who will add to our energy and make a new connection.

I can’t wait to see what 2017 has in store for the Women’s Business Connection!
