  • Launch of the first Regional Partnership for Localizing Financing in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) - a multilevel, multistakeholder coalition of key players, supporting 8 countries, 3,000 local and regional governments and 90 million people!

CCFLA Subnational Project Preparation Practitioners Forum
📍 14:30 - 18:00 (by invitation only, limited to 40 participants); BMZ Bonn premises - download the map here.

This first ever Project Preparation Practitioners Forum is organized by CCFLA, FMDV, GIB and GIZ, with the support of UN Environment, ICLEI, C40, BMZ and BMUB.

This Forum will allow project preparation practitioners to meet and exchange information on their activities to support subnational climate project preparation. These exchanges will be focused on identifying solutions and developing mechanisms that can enable continued dialogue among project preparation practitioners and the development of investable climate projects at the subnational level.

This also will be the occasion to present the Mapping of CCFLA Members Initiatives on local and sub-national climate finance outlining a wide range of financial and non-financial solutions developed by CCFLA members to support the preparation of local and sub-national climate projects.
