Chicago City Solutions workshop (11-12 July)

Register now and learn how Chicago and other global cities are leveraging SMART technologies for better city management

What is it?
The Uraia Platform, in collaboration with the City of Chicago and City Tech Collaborative (City Tech), will organize the first ever City Solutions Series in Chicago on July 11-12, 2018. The workshop will showcase Chicago’s work in city innovation, offering an international platform where cities with similar initiatives can compare their own experiences and challenges.

Why Chicago?
The City of Chicago and City Tech work together to leverage SMART (Sustainable, Measurable, Accountable, Realistic, Transparent) technologies for local innovation and inclusion. Chicago is a world leader city in developing data assets, data management platforms, and data conventions to improve city services for all its citizens. Its partner, City Tech, is a leader in piloting solutions to solve complex, cross-sector urban challenges.

This robust technology ecosystem has paved the way for leadership from academia, government, nonprofits, and industry to make SMART investments in programs across public health, emergency preparedness, infrastructure, and mobility. From innovations like the City’s OpenGrid data platform to university-driven initiatives like the Array of Things, Chicago, City Tech, and their many stakeholders leverage data and technology to serve the public good.
