2023 BMW X1 Revealed: Baby Crossover Grows Up, Adds Sophistication

2022 BMW 330e: What Do You Want to Know?

A lot of people will tell you that a BMW 3-series is the standard against which all other sport sedans should be measured. They drive well, they’re luxuriously appointed and, massive grills aside, they look pretty good. But I’ve never driven a new one, so I can’t tell if this comparison is quite fair.

2023 BMW X1 and iX1 leaked before their world debut

As has been the case in recent years, another leak precedes a global BMW release. The 2023 BMW X1 and iX1 unveil was scheduled for June 1 in Europe (May 31, 6PM EST in the United States), but a set of official images found their way on social media channels.

2023 BMW iX1 Teaser Video Announces May 31 Debut

BMW has had a busy 2022 thus far considering we’ve already seen the 8 Series LCI, 3 Series LCI / i3, all-new 7 Series / i7, X7 LCI, and the M4 CSL, but there’s so much more to come. We’re primarily talking about the M3 Touring, M2, XM, and the yet-to-be-confirmed M4 CSL-based coachbuilt 3.0 CSL.

BMW Design Boss Says Coachbuilding Is A Possibility

At the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, Rolls-Royce introduced the second Boat Tail coachbuilt car to the amazement of the audience. We were curious to find out whether the core BMW brand could follow RR by developing its own highly bespoke models built in extremely limited numbers.

Let BMW Guide You Through The Changes Applied To The 2023 3 Series

Who is more qualified to talk about the 2023 3 Series if not BMW itself? A new official video provides a 12-minute tour of the facelifted sedan and the changes it has gone through with the LCI. The sedan shown here is a 330i with the optional M Sport Package and the newly added Brooklyn Grey body paint.

BMW X3 (with spare tire) Luggage Test | Yes, the spare matters

“Hey Zac, do you have a photo of the BMW X3 cargo area that isn’t the plug-in hyrid?” I asked Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. “What do you mean, that picture’s of the X3 M Competition,” he replied. Hmmm.

BMW explains the rise of SUVs and the decline of two-seaters

SUVs and crossovers have gradually replaced sedans, station wagons, minivans, coupes and sometimes even convertibles in driveways across the United States, and carmakers big and small are reworking their line-ups accordingly.

BMW Design Boss Explains Why The 7 Series And i7 Look The Same

BMW and Mercedes have vastly different approaches when it comes to EVs as the former adapts platforms developed for combustion engines while the latter creates bespoke architectures from the ground up. For this reason, the new 7 Series G70 and i7 look almost the same whereas the S-Class and EQS are substantially different.

BMW USA Increases Prices Of All Cars For 2023MY, M5 Costs $4,200 More

Inflation and supply shortages are only two reasons why car prices have skyrocketed in the last couple of years. It’s getting more and more expensive to get behind the wheel of a new car, provided you can find what you’re looking for given the low inventory.

ASK GIL – Steering : Vehicle Pulls to One Side

Hi Gil. Driving a 2002 BMW Z3 3.0 Roadster. 130K miles. Runs great. Very good condition. Just 2 fast questions.

  1. I store the car in the garage for a about 3 weeks at a time, as it is NOT my daily driver. Battery seems to get a little low when I do. Should I buy and hook up a battery tender, while it sits in my garage? What kind of batter tender??
  2. I had a slight pull to the right (passenger side) when I let go of the wheel. Feels like wheel alignment, do you think that is it?

I went to firestone and had the proper air pressure put in all 4 tires. She still pulled to the right, not as much but still a pull. Do you think this is an alignment thing?? My brakes are still good.

ASK GIL – Maintenance: Headlight Bulbs Do Not Last

Hello I currently have a problem with my head lights. I had the right side replaced a few months ago, now they both are out. Additionally I tend to have a burning smell when I run the AC. I don’t drive much and only local streets. I have a 2005 BMW X3 3.01 with 97,000 miles. Not many repair shops around in Tampa Florida that are reputable

ASK GIL – Engine: Alternative BMW Coolant

Hi Gil, I have a sort of unusual question. I recently returned from a round trip from Florida to New York. On my return trip I got a low coolant alarm. I have a 2019 BMW M240i convertible. Of course I was in a spot with no gas stations or rest stops. So I just added some of my bottled water, about 2 cups. That shut down the alarm. So I just drove the 100 plus miles home. The next day I brought my car to my BMW dealer. And told my story. The response was that this was no big thing because the coolant BMW uses has a high alcohol content and this does happen . My adding just water was fine. When I asked what brand coolant I could use in the future I sort of got a run around when I asked for a recommended brand. The dealer said I could buy a gallon from them but it cost $35 bucks. I not a cheapskate but that did seem over the top. Can you recommend a brand I could use?
