Criminal Defense Investigator Receives Lifetime Achievement Award
Denver, CO (Sept. 25, 2016) — H. Ellis Armistead of Armistead Investigators, whose career is noted by his involvement in such cases as JonBenet Ramsey, Timothy McVeigh, Eric Harris family (Columbine) and more, became the honored recipient of the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award. The acknowledgement came as the climactic point of the Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado (PPIAC) Conference banquet held at the Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center in Denver, CO this past Friday evening.
Mr. Armistead, who conducted a training session during the three-day weekend conference, was humbled and surprised by the accolade.
“I’m honored to have been selected by the committee, and am grateful to be recognized by this esteemed organization.” Mr. Armistead said.
During the conference investigators received training in counter surveillance and surveillance detection, methods and how to become more vigilant investigators, Skip tracing, tips and tricks to locate subjects, how to write stellar reports and more.
The PPIAC, founded in 1978, was formed to improve the credibility of private investigators, and to provide guidelines for a licensing statute in the State of Colorado. PPIAC focuses on continuing education while providing framework for ethical conduct while fostering professionalism in its members. While PPIAC monitors legislative issues that can impact businesses, PPIAC also creates venues for networking, continuing education and training.
