Food & Agriculture Civic Dinner for
Drawdown Georgia

Monday, December 7
6:00 - 7:30 pm

In conjunction with our local farmers, Sustainable Newton is hosting this "civic dinner" (virtual event) to discuss the Food & Agriculture climate solutions being modeled for our state by the researchers at Drawdown Georgia.

We'll open our evening with a short panel discussion featuring farms in Newton and surrounding counties:

While sharing recipes featuring ingredients from their farm, each farmer will discuss their journey into farming and the sustainable techniques they have applied to their work.

Then, for the remainder of the evening, we will break into smaller discussion groups to talk about the climate solutions identified by Drawdown Georgia and how we can each play a part in reducing Georgia's carbon footprint by changing our food habits.
