Hello DC Bilingual community,

Thank you to everyone who participated in the first virtual town hall meetings on Tuesday. Your input is essential to a successful start to the 2020-2021 school year. Remember, if you could not attend one of yesterday’s town hall meetings, you can still RSVP to join today, August 20, at 4:30 PM (Spanish) or 8:00 PM (English). For those who cannot attend, we will post both English and Spanish recordings of the town hall to the ReOpen DCB webpage.

The ReOpen DCB webpage is now live on our website and will serve as a hub for all information related to reopening our school for the 2020-2021 school year. This page will include an archive of all communications to families, frequently asked questions, virtual learning overview, and additional guidance and resources. As the year progresses this page will continue to grow as we add new, relevant information. Please let us know if you have questions regarding this page and/or suggestions to make it more useful for families.

Welcome Back Expo

Next week on Thursday, August 27, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, DC Bilingual will host an outdoor, contact-less, and socially distant Welcome Back Expo. For everyone's safety, we will follow a staggered schedule and strict safety protocol. This week, teachers will be calling every family to share event details. Please review this flyer before coming to ensure a safe process for everyone.
