Over the last few weeks, pots have been frantically bubbling in the GingerBeard's Preserves kitchen as we were preparing some tasty new releases for you and getting ready for July's events.
We wanted to say a little thank you to our stockists who help us spread the GingerBeard's Preserves goodness, so we're dedicating a little introductory article to a different stockist every month. Scroll down to find out more.
WIthout further ado, let us introduce our latest releases:
Pale Ale and Juniper Mustard: Left Handed Giant
’s Pale Ale gives our mustard its initial fiery kick. The addition of juniper, contributed by our collaborators The Pickled Brisket
, leaves a botanic taste on the pallet. This mustard is designed for salt beef sandwiches but also works a treat with meat of any description.
Sweet Ol’ Lactose Tolerant BBQ Sauce:
An outstanding BBQ sauce made with Left Handed Giant Brewing Co’s milk stout. The stout brings great smooth creamy and sweet flavour, when combined with molasses and a few chipotle chillies it is something you must slather over your pork, chicken and, well, pretty much anything!
Moor Ghost Pepper Fusion 2016:
This HOT Sauce is special! The Ghost Chilli and Habanero have been lightly smoked over oak to complement The Moor Beer Company’s
Fusion, their Old Ale aged in Somerset cider brandy barrels. This is a very HOT sauce with a very special flavour, a must-have for any chilli head!
A good old traditional Strawberry Jam made using local Somerset grown strawberries. Delicious on toast, with cream teas and on Victoria sponge.
