What is OGOR up to??

The 1st North Memphis Think Tank was a success! Please take the time to view the synopsis HERE. 

Learn 43 has agreed to begin coding classes in April 2016 for students in the Hollywood area of North Memphis. These classes will focus on game, web, and app design. Volunteers are needed to serve as classroom supervisors. Please let us know if you are able to VOLUNTEER.  
Friends of Chelsea Greenline Advocacy Group is forming, and it will be the 1st of its kind in the Memphis area! Join us on Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 5PM-7PM at The First Tee of Memphis, 974 Firestone Avenue to get this group growing!

Political Education classes are going strong once a month in South Memphis and North Memphis! In conjunction with NBUF Memphis, OGOR is able to educate and advocate for civic education in the Greater Memphis area. MORE INFO
Being Black in College is back in 2016!  On April 16th from 9AM-3PM, OGOR will host its 1st Annual BBIC on the campus of LeMoyne-Owen College.  All high school seniors are eligible to attend! The workshop focuses on real-world topics, students are taught my young black professionals, and did we mention this event is free? For more information on registration, volunteering, or giving, please contact us.
