Happy New Year
Dear Friends of Gallery 113,

Our gallery is still allowed to remain open during the current state mandated shut down, but because of the large increase in positive cases of Covid-19 and safety concerns, hosting the gallery is at the discretion of our volunteers.   We continue to recommend that you call first to make sure we're open at (805) 965-6611Our 'normal' gallery hours are Monday-Saturday, 11am-5pm and Sunday 1-5pm.

We're located at 1114 State Street in the beautiful La Arcada Court.  Be assured that our volunteer hosts are following the required safety protocols. Please wear a mask and practice safe distancing when entering the gallery.

Our current show, which includes Artist of the Month, William Prosser, featured artists, and group artists, will continue until the end of February due to the current disruption.

We do hope you'll get the opportunity to visit our gallery. In the meantime, you can see a wealth of artistic talent on our website at:  You can also follow us on Facebook and our newly launched Instagram account.

We look forward to seeing you and appreciate your support of our local artists! Please share/forward our mailer to family and friends. If you should have any questions please don't hesitate to email us at

Best wishes for a healthy and hopeful new year!

Show Title: The Révélateur Art of William Prosser

Révélateur is a process of creating art, where the sub-conscious ‘reveals’ to the creator of the art, its own independent expression of a theme; the conscious mind of the artist becomes a passive witness to the act.
A wee bit like Zen.
This creative method seeks to combine and juxtapose symbolic images to portray emotions, hopes, fears and dreams – that we all share - in a novel fashion, to ‘reveal’ and understand our human condition in a new light.

Show Title: Santa Barbara Outdoors

Santa Barbara is a place of beauty, with great vistas and beautiful beaches.  During this challenging and sometimes "dark" time, I have been uplifted by the beauty of nature around us.  My work in this exhibit was painted on location in Santa Barbara, some at private spots, during Covid19.  I am pleased to share these special moments in time, where light, atmosphere and color influence and enlighten our mood.
