UPDATE: EVENTS & ACTIVITIES AT ISTABA
Dear Community Members,
After further review, and in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19, ISTABA medically recommends that people NOT attend Jummah or any other congregational salaah at the Sligh masjid or any other masjid until further notice. Currently however, the masjid will remain open. If you choose to attend prayers at the our masjid, you are required to follow all masjid protocols strictly. This will include rewashing of hands even if wudu has already been performed. In addition masks will be required to be worn, and to maintain distancing. Lastly, temperature will be checked, and symptom screening will be done prior to entering the masjid.
We encourage Believers to do their part in taking precautions and put your trust in Allah (SWT). Continue to make duas and prayers seeking forgiveness and repenting from sins.
" اللهم إني أعوذ بك من البرص والجنون والجذام ومن سيّء الأسقام "
" The Prophet ( Peace upon him ) used to say : O Allah, I seek refuge in thee from leprosy, madness, elephantiasis, and evil diseases."
'Uthman bin 'Affan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who recites three times every morning and evening: 'Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma'as-mihi shai'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i, wa Huwas-Sami'ul-'Alim (In the Name of Allah with Whose Name there is protection against every kind of harm in the earth or in the heaven, and He is the All-Hearing and All- Knowing),' nothing will harm him."
[Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi].
May Allah remove this calamity that is among us and protect us from any evil.
Thank you for your patience and remain safe.
