I wanted to share a look back and thank Connecticut Economic Development Association - CEDAS members for all their hard work over the past year. Special thanks to the City of New Haven for welcoming over 200 economic development professionals that attended from all the New England states down through MD! CEDAS has partnered with the CT Main Street Center to host a social networking event in Downtown Willimantic, on October 6th.

This historic, authentic, funky, fun, and free-spirited downtown is home to artists and entrepreneurs, Eastern Connecticut State University, Quinebaug Valley Community College, and an active Victorian neighborhood association. Running paralle to the Williamantic River, Main Street is also home to a variety of shops and galleries, public art, and impressive adaptive reuse projects, not to mention Whitewater Park, and a new streetscape program.
