Dear CEDAS Members,
We begin 2023 knowing Connecticut is poised for growth. Statewide, there is positive energy, enthusiasm, momentum, and a collaborative spirit. CEDAS’ membership is directly connected to this economic progress. We are Connecticut’s independent economic organization representing numerous individuals and organizations. It is our charge to represent all corners of this state and grow our representation accordingly. However, as a volunteer driven body, we rely on your help to fulfill our mission and goals.
CEDAS has consistently demonstrated that we are a blend of professionals working hard towards a shared economic development mission. CEDAS represents professionals who genuinely care about Connecticut’s future growth and development. Our organization is uniquely positioned to address education, communication, networking, advocacy, and partnerships.
CEDAS’s Immediate Past President, Kristen Gorski, recently completed two years at the helm. Her determination and leadership elevated CEDAS to its current stature. I personally thank her for CEDAS’ advancement. She remains engaged in helping provide further guidance. Additionally, we maintain a strong partnership with the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM). CEDAS is a volunteer based professional organization without staff. Our partnership with CCM is critical to our ongoing achievements and effectiveness.
My goal is to represent CEDAS in 2023 in a collaborative and purposeful manner. I am joined by Executive Committee members Kevin Bielmeier as 1st Vice-President, Lynn DiGiovanni as 2nd Vice-President, Karen DelVecchio as Secretary, and Mark Barnhart as Treasurer. Know that this year, we will unveil a new CEDAS website by spring, will launch the next “Best Practices Program” round, will release exciting and educational programming opportunities, and will expand our membership. I request your partnership and support in helping further grow CEDAS through participation and engagement.
I look forward to working closely and collaboratively with all CEDAS members. Please feel free to contact me.
Respectfully,

Paige Bronk
