Request for CEDAS Members to Assist with Survey

The Global Business Council (the “GBC”) , the global arm of the MetroHartford Alliance, supports and facilitates international business opportunities in the greater Hartford region.  The GBC has asked CEDAS for help.

With its regional and state partners, the GBC has compiled a comprehensive list of German-owned companies and subsidiaries located in CT.  The GBC would like to expand the lists beyond Germany and would like to compile as many foreign-owned, US HQs and subsidiaries from all nations that are currently located in CT.  By including CEDAS members, the GBC hopes to compile a comprehensive list of businesses that will showcase the global nature of business in CT.

CEDAS members will receive a short survey and ask you to participate via email.  The list is for information purposes only and will not be used for solicitation.  In return, the MetroHartford Alliance has offered to provide a list of businesses known in your communities.

Congratulations - and Farewell - to Nicole Licata Grant from the CEDAS Board

CEDAS is sad to announce the resignation of Nicole Licata Grant due to a change in her career. Nicole has been a CEDAS Board Director since 2015 and was integral in leading our communications efforts.  She inspired the board to look at new technology and more including social media and better access to our website.

While the CEDAS Board is sad to see her go, we are proud of her accomplishments and congratulate her in her new role as the Inaugural Director of the Avangrid Foundation.

We wish Nicole the best of luck and look forward to working with her on projects to come!
