Who's ready for another long winded story?!

Hi everyone,

In my holiday email I had shared half of my 2016/2017 adventures, I want to share the other half, but I know that not everyone wants to read the deep dives into my personal life that I tend to get into. If you are interested in reading my original newsletter, email me back, and I will send that second half to you (dirty laundry and all).

Instead, I will more concisely say that I've been involved with opening a new pottery classroom studio here in San Francisco called Clayroom.
Will this help me in making my own work? No, probably not - this space is mostly for others, but that doesn't mean that I won't try to sneak things into our kilns from time to time. As a cofounder of Clayroom, I will be teaching 4 regular classes. Most of these classes meet once a week for six weeks, but the Saturday afternoon classes will be a drop-in style or one time format class series, much like what I used to teach at The Clay Underground. Suffice it to say that I have a lot of rust to break loose!

For those of you who live in San Francisco, we have two public open studio evenings on Thursday March 15th and Friday March 16th, where anyone can come by see the studio and even make something. I'll probably teaching some mini lessons, and as mentioned earlier the more that I can do that the better I will feel about teaching again, so I hope that you'll come by! I'm also trying to raise more awareness for one of the classes that I'm teaching - it's on Wednesdays at 1:00pm and only has 2 people in it at the moment. It will probably get cancelled, but I don't really want that to happen, so if you're available and interested sign up here! I promise that I won't be sending emails regarding Clayroom activities in the future, unless I'm specifically doing something special. If you'd like to keep up with Clayroom events we have a newsletter that somebody else puts out, and you can sign up for that here.

Thank you for reading!
