Good News Friends!

Despite things having not gone so well for me lately, I actually have news to share!

First, and most importantly, there is a show coming up soon! Ever since the loss of my studio and day job at The Clay Underground this past June, I thought that there would be no way I could hope to participate in the annual ArtSpan Open Studio Tours. However, thanks to my friend and former TCU artist neighbor, Kaytea Petro, I'll have my work setup in the historic 3rd floor loft of The McRoskey Mattress Company, where she works. I'll be participating on October 22nd and 23rd from 11 am to 6 pm and it would be really great to see you there! In preparation for this show, I was featured in a blog post by McRoskey, if you want to know more about me or want other people to know more about me and my work please check it out! There are many other artists featured there as well, to hopefully give you more than just one reason to come by and check out the work of over 12 other artists.

For the time being, and with things in a little bit of a limbo for me, this might be the only show that I will be able to do before the holiday season, so why not take advantage of a nice low key event to do some gift shopping in an enjoyable way!

Next, and somewhat related, I've been able to do a lot of work to revamp my website and webstore to make it fun, easy, and more interactive. Finally, thanks to the assistance of a new friend, Zena Segre, I have some new work that was finished recently (as shown above). I'm currently in the process of taking pictures to be uploaded into my webstore and hopefully i upcoming email. Some of it will only be available during the open studios event, but it will be possible for you to buy that aforementioned work online and pick up during the event.
Throughout my whole studio space ordeal, I'm constantly reminded that I am nothing without the support of my friends, family, and from you!
