Conversations on Prayer

Dear Christ Church Family,

Below is the third installment of our "Conversations on Prayer" series. This week's video focuses on Praise and Thanksgiving.

Over the last couple of days I have seen several answered prayers as people who went into the
hospital with potentially scary situations have come out thanking and praising God for his grace and mercy. This is a time when we all need to be in prayer for our country, our church, and for one another, that God’s grace would abound. In the hope of encouraging you in your prayer life, I am recording a series of conversations on prayer with Lutricia Richardson who is a fairly new member of Christ Church after recently returning to her hometown of Macon. She received her MDIV from United Theological Seminary, is an ordained Baptist minister, and was the wife of a Methodist minister for about 30 years, so she has spent some time on her knees in prayer! We are so glad to welcome her into our parish family and appreciate the spiritual gifts she brings. She was a member of this year’s Adult Inquirer’s Class and is, along with her classmates, looking forward to being Confirmed when the time comes that the bishop is able to come to hold a Confirmation service again.

Love and blessings,

the Rev. Cynthia Knapp
Rector, Christ Church
