Fordham Law School is delighted to invite EYBA members to a series of programs for legal professionals in New York City this summer

Explore an emerging area of corporate practice and understand recent legal developments in CSR around the world during this intensive two-day training program. Experts from across industries will help participants to understand practical issues and challenges facing companies today as they strive to improve their social and environmental impact. Topics will include: Sustainable Business Practice, Evaluation and Measurement, ESG Reporting, Business and Human Rights, Climate Innovation and Liabilities, Enhanced Engagement in Sustainable Development, and Investment in Africa.

An intensive two-week training program will introduce foreign-trained legal professionals and students to legal English and communication skills. Through lectures, guided case analysis, group discussion sessions and individual tutoring, Fordham Law School professors and English language tutors will provide participants with important legal English and communication skills to succeed in U.S. legal practice and law school. Participants will complete written and oral exercises and will receive individualized feedback on their work throughout the course.

Designed for legal professionals and students from around the world, this two-week immersive program will provide participants with an in-depth understanding of international human rights law and practice. Participants will take part in daily lectures and workshops with Fordham Law professors, supplemented by fieldwork and discussions with members of New York’s prominent human rights community. The program will also include a field trip to the United Nations.
