Garden Visit to John and Carol's food forest in Fernmount (with Seed Labelling afterwards)

SUNDAY August 25, 1.00pm - 3:00pm

Remember to seek out the sign-in sheet on arrival.
Please bring a snack plate to contribute to our quick shared lunch

John and Carol have been long time seed savers and integral members of our Bellingen group. Their Fernmount residence has been thoughtfully designed on renewable and permaculture principles - the garden is amazingly successful and prolific! As their property is now on the R/E market, this may be our last chance to enjoy a remarkable garden, so please join us for a beautiful experience.

After lunch, a garden tour and sharing of plant knowledge, we will label seeds. Bellingen Seed Savers will distribute seeds and plants at a stall at the Bellingen 2019 Spring Plant Fair, Saturday, September 14th.

Coming? please click here to RSVP, to obtain the address and so we know who’s attending. Please RSVP even if you already know how to get there.

Call out for Plant Fair Volunteers

The upcoming Spring Plant Fair is on Saturday September the 14th.
Can you spare a couple of hours to help out on the stall? We need people to sell plants, and seeds. You won't be left on your own! There are always at least 3 people rostered on at once. You don't need to be an expert - all the seeds are labelled, there are print outs of what to plant when and there are other people around to answer questions on plants you don't know.

6:30 to 8:30am - 4 people for Set Up Team

8:00 to 10:00am - 5 people for Early Morning Team

10:00 to 12:00pm - 4 people for Mid-Morning Team

12:00 to 2:00pm - 3 people for Afternoon Team

2:00 to 3:30pm - 3 people for Packup Team

All time slots are allocated on a first-volunteer-first-selected basis.

We also need donations of seedlings. Please bring along on the day or let us know if you're not coming and we'll arrange a drop off/collection.

If you can do it, please contact Gillian - by Email
plantfair@bellingenseedsavers.com or phone 0481 317 281
