Community Notice

Dear Brookline Residents & Business Owners,

Many of our businesses and residents have reached out expressing concerns over the peaceful protest planned for Friday, June 5th. While we are not part of planning this protest we hope to be a source of valuable and factual information. Event information can be found here:

By all accounts this event has been organized as a peaceful protest. See link event description and screen shot in the comments. Since the start of planning, city council and the police have been working with the organizers to insure that this stays a peaceful protest as cited everywhere on the event page. The protest march is scheduled to begin  on Friday, June 5th, at 4:20pm at the McDonald's on West Liberty Avenue, and WILL NOT be going through Brookline or Beechview Business Districts.

As always we ask that our community be respectful of one another and stay diligent to keep our neighborhood, it’s businesses and it’s residents safe.  If you have any additional information regarding this event or actions that may be in place to hijack this event please contact us via messenger or contact Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Zone 6.
