New in Toddler Room 107 & 108:
Our Toddler Classrooms have been learning about colors through the wonderful and captivating work of Eric Carle.  Each week they learn about another color in "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?"  Please see Kalsi and Grazia's wonderful newsletters for more information.
New in Preschool Rooms 105 & 121
The children in 121 and 105 have been studying volcanoes.  In February, former VMCC parent, Eryn Klosko (mother of Madeleine) and WCC faculty member visited us to teach about volcanoes.  She shared actual lava and books about volcanoes.  The children painted and created model volcanoes.
News from Preschool Room 122
Roads!  The children in 122 are learning all about transportation specifically roads.  They are building model roads and 3-D maps and learning about how trucks, cars and vehicles are part of the infrastructure of towns and cities. They are having a great time naming roads after themselves on their big 3-D map!
New!  Exciting Nutrition Curriculum:  Recently nutritionist Amy Stephens held a workshop for our parent community and teachers.  Teachers were inspired to start a curriculum based on Amy's workshop.  Stay tuned to hear more about our upcoming Fruit & Vegetable Inquiry in Preschool Rooms 105 & 121.  Click below for an article about encouraging your child to eat healthfully.
