We are so excited that our Member Green Shirts will be at Coney Island on the actual Summerfair dates. (Members: You will be recieving an email from Dana, our Trustee, with details and a Sign-up Genius very soon) By selling our Summerfair 2020 merchandise at our Drive-thru event we will not only make our patrons very happy but the sales will help us fund our giving for the upcoming year. Every little bit helps.
Anne Shannon will be coming to the office this week to sign and number her beautiful creation. Game Day is working their magic to get us on TV as much as possible and out to as many publications as will have us. It's nice to have something positive to share with our city!
Cincinnati (For Immediate Release) – Summerfair Cincinnati, one of the oldest continuous art fairs in the country, is canceling the 2020 edition of the fair at Coney Island, scheduled for May 29-31.
On what would have been the weekend celebration of the 53rd annual Summerfair May 29-31, Summerfair instead will have several ways to enjoy some activities and for you to help support our mission. “We know that our guests look forward to Summerfair each year,” said Jayne Utter, executive director. “While we can’t be together in person, we still want to give the community a chance to celebrate our artists while staying safe at home. We will still support all our annual awards, exhibitions and competitions this coming year.”
* Drive-through Summerfair Merchandise Event: Located at Coney Island, May 29-31, noon-4 p.m. each day.
Available are t-shirts ($15), tote bags ($15), posters ($10-$30), Rookwood Summerfair items ($60 mug, $90 commemorative tile) and poster note cards ($3 each, $15 - 6 each $100 full set). Pre-order at summerfair.org and Summerfair “Green Shirt” volunteers will deliver to your car. Sales also are available carside by credit card only. Poster artist Anne Shannon will be on site Saturday, May 30 from noon-1 p.m. to sign posters.
