This week will be deliciously different

Hello <<First Name>>,

I'm writing to you from Jam - where I wished I could SHOW you the best potato & smoked bacon soup ever.

Where are you reading this? At work?  At home? On a train? Drop me a line - I'd love to hear - and promise I'll get back to you quickly.

Mistakes teach us lessons
I must TELL you - on Monday - while it was pouring rain in Cork -  I nearly made a big mistake.  I started commissioning a video of a conference - and thought I could do it well by myself.

Another person came to meet the film company with me in the Republic of Work.  He contributed so much value to the decision-making I was ever so glad we'd gone together. "Better two heads than one Paul" - I said to myself.

Here's another head for you - I hope you like it & put it to good use.  I promise you another email next week.

Have a great week,

Paul  (Roger sends his best wishes)

Past work—BiteSize: Hot Chocolate Secret

Never skimp on the chocolate
What: Live action video for BiteSize Café Bakery to explain the unique selling point of the hot chocolate sold in its cafés

When: April, 2018

Why: BiteSize takes great pride in the ingredients it uses. Most cafés use fairly ordinary ingredients to make hot chocolate. BiteSize doesn't. They wanted to show why their hot chocolate tastes so much more chocolaty than others'.

How: A simple concept that relied on dumb luck. This is the first take. The test take. Everything landed so perfectly, no more takes were needed. We couldn't have composed the final frame better if we had tried.

The next step

The next step is always the most important - it takes you to where you make the next step. There is only the next step.  That's what my teacher taught me.

May your next step be delicious - pleasing, productive & positive.

Have a [GRAND] week,

Paul (and Anne and Jon and Roger)
