Get those paintbrushes out for Bedford Together’s annual celebration day. The theme this year is Bedford’s People and Places, so send in a sketch, painting, or artistic endeavour depicting your favourite Bedford scenes, monuments, buildings or people. You don’t have to be the next Rembrandt or Picasso, just get creative and have some fun! The entries can be sent to, and will be exhibited at Bedford Central Library on Bedford Together Day – 29th October 2016.

Also  huge congratulations to all of those children who have taken part in The Big Friendly Read during the holidays!  The library are very proud of everyone’s achievements. The challenge runs until 10th September, so there is still time to join in at any of the Bedford Borough Libraries.
