What a brilliant time we had at Love Bedford Day. It was lovely to meet so many people and we very nearly completely sold out of books!

The summer holidays are here and we hope you are all enjoying the sunshine which has finally reached us. There is lots going on this summer and plenty to be getting involved in.

The play’s title ‘Somewhere in England’ (The Bedford Play), is a reference to the BBC’s live broadcasts from Bedford (and particularly Bedford School) during the Second World War. The play uncovers the lives of key Bedfordians, its connections with famous people and the stories behind some of the town’s iconic landmarks.
