IADV Newsletter Feb 2016

There has been a lot of great activity from Indigenous Architecture and Design Victoria over the last month, and many more coming up, as we continue our efforts to strengthen culture and design in the built environment.

MoU with AIA

On Tuesday 2 February 2016 IADV were pleased to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Victorian Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects.

The AIA have been a strong supporter of IADV since our inception, and this document helps formalise this strong relationship.

MPavillion Talks

Last week IADV Directors Jefa Greenaway, Timmah Ball and Rueben Berg took part in talks at the MPavillion to discuss Indigenous placemaking strategies.

New Corporate Partner

IADV is proud to announce that the University of Melbourne's Melbourne School of Design have signed up as an IADV Founding Corporate Partner. IADV have had a strong working relationship with MSD and have been involved in several projects together, and we are looking forward to many more.
