Update and news 21st May 2021
Dear <<First Name>>,
Welcome to this week’s newsletter. We hope you find this useful in terms of giving you an update on what is happening at Culliford and what we’ve been up to, including any updates regarding COVID.
Thank you to those relatives who were able to join us via zoom for our virtual relatives meeting on Wednesday. This meeting was an opportunity for us to share any updates and developments within the home with you and an opportunity to hear from you and answer any questions that you may have.
Gold Standard Framework
Since our accreditation we introduced a colour coding system in order to identify the decline in a resident’s health and to ensure we get more support from the health care professionals. This then ensures that the resident has the treatment and care they need through ongoing monitoring and review.
Years, Months, Weeks, Days
We have monthly meetings where discussions are held about the current health and medical conditions of each resident. This is an excellent way to ascertain when the need arises for extra support whether that is for more suitable medication or specific resources to ensure you are still able to continue to live the life you want to live, as comfortably as possible.
We must stress however that your colour coding can chop and change; if you are going through a period when you are less well with the help of medication and some TLC your coding will change as you get better.
Colour Coding is about giving
- The Right Care
- For the Right Person
- In the Right Place
- At the Right Time
- Every Time
The Gold Standards Framework: Platinum
Please do also email Julie Tombs our Head of Care and GSF Lead email@example.com if you have any questions around colour coding.
At all times, we continue to take direction from our local Public Health regarding the ‘R’ rate and monitor this ourselves very carefully. We will also consistently be reviewing our visiting guidance, and this may change instantly, as, and when required.
