Update and news 19th February 2021

Dear <<First Name>>,

Relatives meeting

Thank you to those relatives who were able to join us via zoom for our virtual relatives meeting on Wednesday.

This meeting was an opportunity for us to share any updates and developments within the home with you and an opportunity to hear from you and answer any questions that you may have.

Further to yesterday’s discussion, we identified that it is important to maintain as much contact as possible albeit virtual! We have begun to facilitate care plan reviews virtually with your relative. Apologies if you have not heard from us yet, we are continuing to make arrangements for these to take place.

You are invited to join us for our next virtual Relatives Meeting on Wednesday 17th March at 4.00pm. If you would like to join us and would like a link for this service. Please email: jeanette.acourt@cullifordhouse.co.uk to confirm and a link will be sent to you.

Vitamin D supplements

Towards the end of last year, the Government announced that all care home residents and those on the governments shielding lists were going to be offered a free four-month supply of Vitamin D supplements. Click to read the government’s Vitamin D care home guidance.

We have now received these supplements and we are now in the process of making preparations in seeking relevant consent from appointed representatives and implementing relevant documentation.

Visiting
Please do not hesitate to contact our Visiting Co-ordinator, Marnie Moors Deputy Manager if you have any questions or concerns regarding visits and would like to book an additional facetime call.

Spring is in the Air
We have started our ‘Brighter future ‘window display for spring. Lots of colourful Butterflies. Beautiful! We have also been busy painting pots in preparation for planting our spring flowers.

Pancake day
On Shrove Tuesday we celebrated Pancake Day. Good effort by all those who had a go at flipping the pancakes. Do check out our Facebook page to see who had a go. To finish off we guessed how many words could be made from the word pancake. How many more can you guess?
