Update and news 5th March 2021

Dear <<First Name>>,

In last week’s newsletter I informed you I would be confirming when visits will commence and outlining what to expect from your first visit. Julie Tombs and I have been contacting family members to give an update as to where things are at. At present there is no updated published government guidance and until we see the detail, we will be continuing with our existing visiting arrangements. We want to also reassure you that we continue to be committed in ensuring that we keep all our residents and staff as safe as possible.

Please do not hesitate to contact our Visiting Co-ordinator, Marnie Moors Deputy Manager if you have any questions or concerns regarding visits and would like to book an additional facetime call.

So, what have we been up to this last week!

Welsh week
We have had a busy week this week with celebrating St David’s day and all things welsh. Our welsh themed quiz with the daffodils against leeks was great fun with the daffodils score of 15 made them the winning team. We also made some lovely welsh cakes which tasted delicious. Everyone was in great welsh voice this week for choir enjoying some of our favourite welsh songs.

Happy Birthday Phyllis
Many Happy Returns to Phyllis who enjoyed her Birthday celebrations. Very enjoyable day and even said how she had never been spoilt like this before. Thank you to Suzanne for making her a beautiful cake.
