Plenary Session 5: Game Changing Innovations for Identity in Africa
Plenary Session 5: Friday, April 28, 2017 8:30 - 10:00
In a series of four keynote presentations, thought leaders will present ideas that appear to have significant promise for accelerating the development of identity schemes in Africa. The topics of discussion include the use of fingerprints as a biometric for children, mobile in identity management from cradle to grave, open source CRVS, and blockchains. These ideas appear to be ready for large scale pilots and deployment and have the potential to change the fact patterns around the challenges of developing identity systems in Africa.
