Deploying identity systems in environments like those found in Africa, presents significant challenges. This session will explore a variety of innovations, particularly tuned for Africa, that have been deployed recently. These range from innovations in business process innovations, data integration, to ICT technology and biometrics.
This session focuses on e-ID as a key enabler of e-Government within the context of digital transformation based on e-Gov as drivers of sustainable development. It gives an overview of the role of e-Gov in development and the achievements of several countries in providing public services online through one-stop platforms.
