Application of biometrics in electoral systems is a core area of focus for ID4Africa. This year we will deepen the exploration started in 2016 with an impressive lineup of experts. 
  • The UNDP and the African Union Commission will present latest studies on the use of digital identity systems in support of electoral processes from across Africa. 
  • The Chairman of the electoral commission of Nigeria, the largest country in Africa, will present his commission's perspective on a controversial topic, namely biometric voter verification.
