PREPARATIONS ARE WELL ON THEIR WAY FOR THE 3RD EDITION OF THE ID4AFRICA ANNUAL MEETING
ID4Africa looks forward to welcoming you to its Annual Meeting, this year themed "Pathways to Digital Identity." This third event follows the continued goal of empowering African governments to provide Digital Identity for all of their citizens.
WHY PATHWAYS TO DIGITAL IDENTITY?
Each country has unique challenges based on specific context such that there is no single path to arrive at the same destination - digital identity for all. ID4Africa provides the forum for the exchange of knowledge so that every nation can forge its own path. The theme this year takes an approach beyond the practical theme of last year's event; moving from the "why" of digital ID schemes to the "how" of implementation.
NEW INNOVATIONS THIS YEAR
Building on past experience and the feedback from you, we are making many changes that will enhance and improve the ID4Africa experience for all. A few of the changes are listed below. To see the Program Concept Notes, please click here.
The program incorporates multiple session formats in order to maximize the opportunities for participation, dialogue, discussions, and engagements from all the stakeholders within the ID4Africa constituency, as we look to solve problems and transfer actionable knowledge.
THREE FULL DAYS
The added day is a direct response to the valuable feedback after Kigali this year. More refreshment and coffee breaks have been added as well, creating more opportunities for networking. In total the program contains 1155 minutes of high value content over 3 full days.
ID DOCSEC SYMPOSIUM
Credentials and secure documents continue to play an important role as attestations of identity, and even in an increasingly digital world, they will continue to play an important role for several years to come. This year will feature a coherent symposium consisting of 4 sessions that last the entire day and which will focus on ID document security.
