Victorian Serial Killer comes back to London this Halloween
This Halloween weekend Jack's back – Jack the Ripper will be taking up residence in the Jack the Ripper Museum - are you brave enough to come and meet him?
For one weekend only, museum visitors can meet Jack the Ripper. Dare you have a selfie with him in his sitting room where he planned his horrific murders? Or how about a picture with Jack in Mitre Square together with the body of Catherine Eddowes? Are you brave enough to meet him in Mary Jane Kelly's bedroom - the scene of the most horrific of all Jack the Ripper's murders. Just be careful not to meet Jack in the basement morgue!
One place you won't find Jack is in the Lehman Street Police Station, home of Whitechapel Division H and the epicentre of the investigation in 1888. Here you can see Inspector Aberlline, lead detective on the case as well as some of the most important Ripper items such as the infamous 'From Hell" and "Dear Boss" letters!
The Jack the Ripper Museum is at 12 Cable Street, Whitechapel and offers visitors a fully immersive experience where you can see, touch, smell and feel Jack the Ripper’s London. Housed in an historic Victorian house, visitors step straight into the world of Jack the Ripper and experience his crimes through the eyes of the women who were his victims. It’s educational, fun and very scary.
