Don’t forget your umbrella….
There will be times this spring when you’ll want to make sure you have your umbrella handy. An umbrella insurance policy is a good idea year-round. It provides an additional layer of liability coverage, typically in $1 million increments, over and above your car and household insurance. Think you’re too young and don’t really have the assets that would make an umbrella necessary? In the event you cause a catastrophic injury to someone, a court could attach your future earnings. Think you can’t afford an umbrella in your retirement years? Ask yourself how you would feel about turning your retirement savings over to a stranger. The annual cost of most umbrella policies won’t be much more than the cost of an hour’s worth of legal assistance. Don’t have an umbrella? Call or email us for a quote!
