Saturday March 27, 1 – 5 pm Online Zoom Class Sunday, March 28, 12 – 3 pm Field Trip at UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens

Learn how to identify the spring wildflowers of the central and western Carolinas. A combination of classroom instruction and an educational hike through the Van Landingham Glen will include characteristics of the plant families represented in our spring flora, identification of common spring species, tips for gardening for native spring displays, and interesting facts about history of these plants. A live Zoom format will offer opportunities for students to ask questions. For students unable to attend the live Zoom meetings, questions can be submitted in advance and recordings of the Zoom class will be available for later viewing.
