MoreArt public art festival at Fawkner

Fawkner Memorial Park is currently featured as part of the MoreArt Public Art Show! Come and take a look at the intriguing art installation on display next to Fawkner station. Box Forest by artist Marcia Ferguson includes an installation of planter boxes containing native grasses that would have grown on site prior to John Fawkner’s transformation of the area and the early development of Fawkner Memorial Park.

Williamstown Cemetery fountain update

The restoration of our ornate historic fountain at Williamstown Cemetery is nearing completion! Roadways have recently been reopened to the public following improvement works and it is estimated that refurbishment of the fountain itself will be completed by the end of November 2016.
