wherever you may be, a genetic counsellor (pediatric) is a vital clinical care team member for specialized support and assistance with coordination of specialized services

I’m highlighting this interview because I think it may be also interesting to parents of children, or teens themselves, in Toronto or other parts of Canada. This genetic counsellor is at a VHLA, Clinical Care Center or hospital in the US*,  formally designated “First Contact” and assists in discussing/coordinating specialist appointments. Thus, wherever you may be, a genetic counsellor (pediatric) is a vital healthcare team member for specialized support and assistance with coordination of specialized services. I’m assuming many parents in Canada already have genetic counsellors at the pediatric level.
