A Child's Haven treats children with developmental delays as a result of limited resources, abuse, or neglect, and provides support and education for their families.
A MESSAGE FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

April showers bring May flowers. How fun it is to remember the rhymes, poems and all the things we learned as a child.  The children of A Child’s Haven learn new things every day.  Our talented staff work with children and families to develop social, emotional, speech and other age appropriate milestones which are delayed due to limited resources, abuse,or neglect.
We thank our long term supporters of A Child’s Haven for all they have done to make a difference in the lives of our children.  I hope others may consider supporting our work and make a difference in the future of a child.  Call our Development Department today for a tour and to see how you can get involved!
- Debbie Roche, Executive Director

COMMERCE CLUB BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S EVENT BENEFITS A CHILD'S HAVEN

We are very thankful to the Commerce Club and all the business women who attended the “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” membership and networking event on April 5th.  We were so excited to be able to share our mission with the over 100 women in attendance, and $600 was raised to benefit A Child’s Haven!
-Cathy Griffin, Development Director

CLASSROOM HAPPENINGS

The Hummingbirds have been learning about plants and really enjoyed finger painting and creating their own flowers with our art volunteer, Ms. Lynn!
-Ms. Michelle and Ms. Chelsea

The Lilies have been having lots of fun experimenting with different process art activities! To celebrate spring, we swapped out our usual paintbrushes and introduced artificial flowers. We also enjoyed painting on aluminum foil instead of paper, which the Lilies excitedly described as, “shiny painting!”
-Ms. Melissa

Earth Day was celebrated in the Dandelions room with the reading of The Lorax by Dr. Seuss and the creation of their own Loraxes.
-Ms. Lori

Our friends in the Buttercups have been experimenting with creating art using all five of their senses.
-Ms. Megan
